This Queen Serenity costume from Sailor Moon will be worn at a Black and White Ball, hence the mask. Our customer wanted to ensure the dress "stayed up" . . . we left channels between the actual dress and the bodice lining. The same pink satin that covers the wings was used to create ties that run through the channels and go through holes in the wings. This holds the dress tightly, while also holding on the wings. The dress is fashioned from white wedding satin with a hand appliqued gold lame trim. Two rows of pearl trim encircle the bodice as well. This dress features boning to help keep its shape.
